This medication is intended to relieve joint pain brought on by arthritis. Diclofenac belongs to the group of drugs known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Ask your doctor about other pain relief methods and/or different medications if you are managing a chronic condition like arthritis.

Precautions:

• If you have any allergies, including to aspirin, other NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen, naproxen, or celecoxib), or Diclofenac, let your doctor or pharmacist know before using the medication. • Your doctor should be informed about your medical history, particularly if you have aspirin-sensitive asthma (a history of breathing problems that worsened with a runny or stuffy nose after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs), liver disease, stomach/intestinal issues (such as bleeding, ulcers), heart issues (such as a prior heart attack), high blood pressure, stroke, swelling (edema, fluid retention), blood disorders (such as anemia), bleeding/clotting issues, and growths (nasal polyps).

Side Effects:

• The application of this formulation may cause skin irritation or redness. Inform your doctor or pharmacist at the earliest if this side effect persists for a long time.
• Remember that this medication was recommended by your doctor because they believed it would benefit you more than harm you. Call your doctor if you experience any severe adverse effects, such as renal problems (such as a change in the volume of urine), heart failure (such as swollen ankles or feet), unusual fatigue, or sudden/odd weight gain immediately once.
• If you consume this medicine, your blood pressure can go up. Check your blood pressure frequently, and notify your doctor if the readings are high.
