Quick Enquiry

L-ARGININE 5 GM, ZINC OXIDE 10 MG, FOLIC ACID 1.5 MG – L-arginine is an amino acid. Amino acids, which make up proteins, can either be obligatory or optional. Unlike non-essential amino acids, necessary amino acids cannot be synthesized by the body. As a result, they require dietary intake to be provided.

L-arginine is categorized as conditionally essential or semi-essential, meaning that it only becomes so under certain circumstances and conditions, including pregnancy, infancy, acute illness, and trauma.

Usage

  • Patients with angina who take an oral L-arginine supplement appear to experience fewer symptoms, have better exercise tolerance and have a better overall quality of life. However, it doesn't seem to be able to widen blood vessels that are constricting because of angina.
  • Oral supplementation with 2.5–5 grams of L-arginine daily seems to enhance sexual performance. When taken with medications like sildenafil and tadalafil, L-arginine may function more efficiently than when given on its own.
  • Healthy people, people with high blood pressure, and people with slightly increased blood pressure, whether or not they have diabetes, can all have their blood pressure reduced by L-arginine.
  • Preterm children are more susceptible to the fatal intestinal condition known as necrotizing enterocolitis, or NEC. L-arginine appears to reduce the risk of this syndrome in premature newborns when added to the formula.
  • People with peripheral arterial disease, which is characterized by a constriction of blood vessels that restricts blood flow to the limbs, benefit from taking L-arginine orally or intravenously for up to 8 weeks. However, using it for up to six months does not help in accelerating or lengthening walking distance. IV products may only be administered by medical professionals.
  • If your blood pressure is high because of pregnancy During pregnancy, L-arginine IV treatment can reduce blood pressure: L-arginine may reduce the need for blood pressure drugs even though it is unknown whether it lowers blood pressure during pregnancy. Only licensed medical personnel may administer IV products.
